Equine Sales Program - develop, manage, and work with versatile, reliable horses

Labradoodle Program - one of the longest-running programs in the U.S.

You’ll be involved in: -Daily horse care + barn management -Sales & training program support -Labradoodle breeding program -Learning directly from the barn manager + owner

This is for someone who wants more than just a line on a resume- you’ll leave with real skills, real knowledge, and real experience.

Requirements
  • Prior experience working with horses (handling, grooming, basic care) preferred
  • Ability to safely lead, groom, tack, and assist with daily horse care
  • Reliable and punctual- early mornings and consistent schedules are part of the job
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
  • Positive attitude and ability to take direction from the barn manager and owner
  • Team-oriented but also capable of working independently
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs (feed bags, water buckets, etc.)
  • Comfortable with physically demanding work (mucking stalls, turnout, cleaning)
  • Experience with fox hunting or trail horses- Not required
  • Clipping, braiding, or basic first aid knowledge

Dog Care Responsibilities

  • Willing to assist in the doodle house with daily care of adult dogs and puppies

  • Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment

  • Comfortable working with and around dogs of all ages and sizes

  • Attention to detail- noticing small changes in horse or dog behavior/health

  • Ability to follow routines and maintain a clean, organized workspace

  • Flexible and willing to help wherever needed on the farm

  • Previous barn, kennel, or farm work experience

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

On-site housing is provided in a fully refurbished apartment located above the barn. The space includes a private kitchen, bedroom, and living area, offering a comfortable and convenient living arrangement. The only shared space is the bathroom, which is located within the barn. This setup allows for easy access to daily responsibilities while enjoying a quiet, farm-based lifestyle.
