Horse Carriage Driving Trainer. Must be knowledgable with taking care of Friesian Horses. Dependable with references only need apply. You will be directly responsible for the overall management of horse care and the Equine Barn and property area. A majority of each day will be spent actively training and caring for horses, ordering supplies, scheduling vets/farriers, cleaning stalls, and maintaining paddocks grounds keeping. Applicants must have flexibility and work weekends. Must have knowledge and familiarity of horse care. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; DOT License (or willingness to obtain). Ability to drive a livestock trailer a PLUS!

Responsibilities:

Training/driving horses daily and Yard & Grounds maintenance Developing & enforcing feed & cleaning schedules Ordering supplies & feed Maintaining equipment, supply & feed inventory Dispensing & applying prescribed medications and treatments Developing & enforcing exercise routines Available for emergency after-hours Managing disposal of waste Arranging and overseeing vet visits, worming & shots Overseeing farrier scheduling & visits
