We have one working student position available. this could be a Summer position or ideally something for 6 months or longer....
What are we looking for...the horse loving rider, who desperately wants to learn and ride and find out how good they can truly be.
You can ride, take lessons, and go show with a top event rider! We have housing for you, room for a horse and a pet with legs, if you have one... and a stipend on top of it!
We need a working student, someone we can trust and rely on to help bring out the best in both the horses and the people of C Square and Excel Star Farm families. The job includes everything it takes to keep a 5 star operation running smoothly, so we need someone like you, who takes pride in their work, adds value to their workplace, and has a real appetite for learning!
Most of our horses are on the younger side, so applicants need to be aware and able to deal with horses that are more youthful in their attitudes and need a calm and thoughtful approach to being handled
We compete most weekends, so you have the opportunity to learn about what goes into showing horses, braiding, packing the trailer, show prep, etc.
We are also an active sales and training facility so you be included in training from foals on up, including long lining, natural horsemanship, starting horses over fences and continuing education with jumping and cross country schooling.
If you are looking to improve your riding and become more competent in your horsemanship skills than our program might be a fit.

Equestrian Employer Details
We are an active training and sales farm in Nottingham, Pennsylvania and Aiken, South Carolina.
Courtney is a 5* level competitor with a busy training stable of both her own and other horses to compete. In addition to a competitive sales and training program domestically, (CSquareFarm.com) Courtney also breeds her own horses and imports from overseas, importing between 35-55 horses per year (ExcelStarSportHorses.com).
The Pennsylvania farm is 20 acres with housing for 19 horses and staff housing with Wifi, central heat and air conditioning and lovely views.
The Aiken farm is also 20 acres with housing for staff and horses, and camper hook ups. We have spacious turnouts, unlimited hacking, a beautiful cross country field and a large (250 x 250) GGT arena.
