Provide all aspects of care for 6 horses and two mini donkeys on a large private estate . Grooms work five days a week, the working hours are 7am -4pm & include weekends, and holidays. Must be legal to work in USA. No housing available .

Refill hay & Shavings in stable , picking paddocks, mucking out stalls, feed preparation and distribution, cleaning and refilling water daily, daily grooming of horses, turn out / bring In , bathing, cleaning tack, bandaging legs, tacking up, blanketing and un-blanketing horses and administering basic first aid for cuts and scrapes. Grooms with riding skills are permitted to ride on property with the barn manager only . No riding alone. Must wear proper headgear at all times while mounted and sign a liability waiver .
Grooms also hold horses for treatment by the farrier and veterinarian, assisting with preparations for shipping horses. Operate various pieces of farm equipment. Groom is supervised by a barn manager. The groom is expected to report back to those in management when they notice any injuries, changes in behavior, or potential hazards. Grooms must be prepared to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and varying weather conditions. Grooms must be able to lift 50+ pounds daily.
