Founded in 1911, our 7 week residential summer camp for girls ages 7 to 16 offers a broad array of team and individual sports, performing and visual arts, and outdoor living in a fun and stimulating environment. Our coed staff comes from all over the world to spend their summer on 260 acres with a mile of shorefront in beautiful Maine!
Tripp Lake Camp is seeking a Riding Director
- Plan, direct, and supervise a safe and fun English horseback riding program
- Write (with the help of Horseback Riding Specialists) lesson plans that meet camp goals
- Evaluate riding abilities of campers and staff
- Deliver creative riding program activities based on a nationally recognized riding association
- Set daily and session schedules for the horse program
The riding staff teaches private lessons A qualified director should have experience in English Style Riding and be comfortable managing a staff The riding director is also responsible for barn maintenance, horse care and tack.
Requirements
The riding director must be available June 8th to August 10th.
