Requirements
We are seeking a seasoned, physically capable equine professional with 20+ years of hands-on horse employment who genuinely enjoys quiet mornings, structured routines, and outdoor work.
Successful candidates will be:
Morning people with strong daily discipline
Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs at times and work in Florida heat
Drug-free, smoke-free, no tobacco use, and not heavy drinkers
Clean, organized, dependable, and professional
Easy to work with, receptive to direction, and able to follow farm protocols with a positive, cooperative attitude
Able to work independently while remaining responsive and communicative
Calm, steady, respectful, and drama-free
Must have a reliable personal vehicle
Prefers a simple, peaceful lifestyle and takes pride in expert horse care **

The caretaker is responsible for the complete care of 6–11 horses, including daily grooming, hoof picking, weekly bathing, clipping as requested, administering medications, applying wraps when needed, and monitoring daily comfort and wellness.
