We are looking for an experienced Head Person/Yard Manager to join our busy riding and driving yard. We have a lovely string of horses competing both nationally and internationally from a private family yard.
The role requires a very high standard of care, presentation and personal standards. Turnout here is expected to be immaculate along with the presentation of the yard and equipment.
The role includes all general yard duties, preparation for competition and grooming at events. The ability to clip, plait, trim and turnout to a very high standard is essential. A competent rider is also needed as hacking will be required. Applicants must be trustworthy, dedicated, very reliable and must be able to work as part of a team. Good organisational and communication skills are key along with the skills to be motivational in leading a small team. Previous experience working on a competition yard is desired and experience of sole charge responsibility is essential. Competence and confidence in handling fit and young competition horses is necessary.

This is a 5.5 day week, accommodation could be available to the right person as is the ability to have there own horse on the yard. We are located in Lincolnshire near Louth
Requirements
Must have experience of being the sole person in charge. Lorry driver would be ideal Experience of carriage driving preferred but not essential
