Looking for a groom for the 2026 Polo Season and potentially beyond. To start in immediately (although can be flexible). Ideally looking for someone full time although happy to discuss part time options.

Based on a private yard at Silver Leys Polo Club in Hertfordshire. Loads going on at the club so a really fun place to be – it’s very laid back and there’s a club house serving food every day etc.

Horses live half in and half out. Role would involve general stable work and riding including riding and leading groups, schooling, then grooming for chukkas and matches etc.

Mostly just weekend matches and weekday chukkas so pretty relaxed and fun. Loads of flexibility around polo to manage your time. We have matches at the club and also travel away. Great hacking and opportunity for chukkas and/or polo/schooling lessons + stick and ball if interested! Option to get involved in our young horse programme (but not obligatory!) We also try and do other bits with the horses whether that's some jumping, taking them to the beach or gallops etc My partner is an equine vet so is happy to teach veterinary skills again if of interest. HGV massive bonus but not essential.
