I will be graduating in December with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, with an emphasis in Equine Science. I have taken various classes, including Equine Production, Nutrition, and Equine Breeding, to better understand horse care and the industry.

I worked as a groom, feeding horses, mucking paddocks, and cleaning tack. I also assisted at shows, bathing and braiding horses, and I have experience shadowing equine veterinarians during medical procedures and with foaling out mares.

I have been riding horses for most of my childhood. I worked as a groom at my riding stables, caring for horses, and am also the main caretaker for my horses at home, dealing with a wide variety of medical issues. I have experience in equine reproduction and have shadowed equine veterinarians during medical procedures. I volunteer at different shows as a jump judge or ring steward, and have also groomed for others at local schooling shows. I compete casually in eventing with my gelding. I am also experienced in horse judging and in understanding equine conformation, and I won a national championship in the United States with my team.

I have worked with foals and broodmares, doing foal watch and helping rebreed the mares. I have also helped with the stallion collection process and groomed for clients for schooling shows.

I have ridden at the lower levels of eventing and dressage. In the past, I have competed in equitation casually. I have a lot of experience on trails of varying difficulty and have done endurance rides with my geldings as well.
