Hello! My name is Heidi McGrew, and I am currently an English teacher up in Beckley, WV. However, I am looking to make a career change. I have always loved horses and my desire is to work for a professional, well-run barn in any capacity.Duties of Current Occupation
I have worked as a volunteer cleaning out stalls, feeding horses, turning in and out horses, lunging horses when needed, laying down wood chips, and watering horses.

I have been taking lessons for my very year by August of 2026. Beyond that, I have no horse experience.
