Bio
Experienced ranch manager, assistant barn manager and groom known for calm, observant handling of hard-to-catch horses. Skilled in daily care, breeding support, foal watch, staff training and property upkeep. Open to strong local or live-in roles.Qualifications
My qualifications are hands-on: ranch management, assistant barn management, grooming, breeding-farm support, foal watch, staff training, inventory, and property operations. I hold a valid driver's license but do not currently drive for work or transport horses. I have operated tractors, zero-turn mowers, and brush hogs. I prefer to learn each employer's procedures and continue building my skills through paid training or certification.

Duties of Current Occupation
Managed daily care for herds of 30–60 horses: feeding, turnout, stalls, water, blanketing, grooming and health checks. Trained staff, ordered feed, hay and fuel, maintained fences and grounds, operated tractors, and supported foaling and breeding.
Equine Work Experience
Hands-on equine experience across ranch, barn and breeding settings. At Blue Moon Ranch, supported daily care for up to 60 horses across three barns, completed day and night rotations, handled difficult-to-catch horses, kept detailed work reports, and supported mares and foals. As ranch manager at Woodland Stables, oversaw care for 30–40 horses and a 3–5 person team; handled feed, hay and diesel ordering, turnout, stalls, blanketing, grooming, fencing, equipment, and grounds maintenance. Earlier roles at Cedar Hill Stallion Station and East Gate Sanctuary included grooming, turnout, stalls, foal watch, breeding support, fence repair, and assistant barn management. Volunteer experience at Wolfe Ranch included feeding, moving horses, and fence work. I have responded to choke-like symptoms by alerting the manager, staying with the horse, and monitoring until veterinary guidance, and helped guide a foal to nurse while bottle feeding was used.
Specialities
Calm, patient handling of wary and hard-to-catch horses; several that avoided others learned to approach and accept haltering. Experienced with mares, foals, trained stallions, youngstock, foal watch, nursing support, colic and injury monitoring, and escapes. Managed 3–5-person teams, trained new staff in safe handling, and coordinated care for 30–60 horses. Proactive about clean water, secure fencing, and noticing changes in behavior or condition.
Type of Ride Work
Limited trail and arena riding experience. I am confident handling horses from the ground and am interested in building safe, supervised riding experience. I do not overstate my riding level.
Competition Details
No competition-yard or show-groom experience. My background is in daily horse care, breeding support, barn and ranch management, and property operations.
