My major in school used to be Pre-Vet before I switched to Finance my sophomore year. I took large animal labs as well as science courses such as anatomy & physiology.

I have experience with multiple finance & marketing roles. In terms of horse experience, I am on Auburn's IHSA club team where I am the Social Media Chair. I practice with the team, ensuring safety and welfare for horses as well as mentor new members

I have been riding since the 6th grade. I am proficient at the walk, trot, and canter, and I used to show in the .80s jumpers. I know how to handle unsafe situations. In the past, I have fully leased 5 different horses. I know how to groom, tack, wrap, care for minor cuts & scrapes, lunge, school, pull mane, clip, muck stalls, feed, load into a trailer, organize, bathe, turnout, etc. I also have extensive experience with dogs and cats, as I owned a pet-sitting business for years with 30+ loyal clients. Here, I also cared for chickens and goats.

I don't have any special skills with foals or stallions, but I am extremely eager to learn!

I've ridden multiple types of horses, however, recently it has been a mix of thoroughbreds and warmbloods since I've been riding Auburn's horses. In the past, I have ridden a mix of green horses, ponies, hot-headed horses, slow horses, etc. I have mainly worked on flatwork in college, but I used to compete in equitation before the jumpers.

I have competed in multiple different yards, but I have not worked as a groom.
