Bio
I have worked a few summers at a dude ranch in the midwest that had a herd of 80, and now my equine experience has been on a volunteer basis supporting a family with a small barn and managing a 40-acre farm with 16-livestock animals professionally.Qualifications

Turnout/catch/halter, feeding & grain, injury care/prevention, stall & shelter cleaning, water troughs, feed inventory, vet coordination, trail ride leading, lesson support, fence building, and hay handling/stacking.
Equine Work Experience
Equine care experience in both large herd ranch and private barn settings. Worked with an 80-horse pasture-based herd and structured AM turnout/PM bring-in systems. Skilled in feeding, turnout, handling, grooming support, barn upkeep, and daily horse wellbeing monitoring. Experience with draft horses, draft crosses, light horse breeds, ponies, donkeys, and young horses including colts. Comfortable managing varied temperaments with a calm, safety-focused approach. Additional farm experience includes stall cleaning, water trough maintenance, feed organization, fencing, hay handling, and general barn upkeep. Strong ability to follow instruction, work independently, adapt quickly, and an eagerness to continue learning in structured barn environments.
Specialities
Experience with pasture-kept and scheduled turnout horses. Worked with drafts, draft crosses, light breeds, ponies, donkeys, and young horses. Skilled in behavior management, basic medication administration, and minor wound care.
