In past horseback riding jobs, I have: -bathed, groomed, and tacked up various horses -blanketed twelve horses a night -cleaned the grooming stalls -walked horses around who were injured -schooled horses who were more challenging

I've been riding for eight years. I've worked as a camp counselor at a horseback riding camp. There, I cleaned tack and taught children many of the necessary skills needed for riding and taking care of their horses. I've assisted with lessons, including therapy lessons. I was on the horseback riding team at Skidmore College, and there I helped with the showing process when I wasn't riding. I was also assigned two horses to give extra attention to each week, so I've had, for example, experience with a bemer, ice boots, and a horse walker.

I've mostly done flatwork, but I have also jumped crossrails and low vertical jumps. I've ridden many different types of horses, such as lazier horses, horses prone to spooking, and horses that are sensitive to pressure on their mouth.

I've competed in college before at the IHSA level; to be more specific, at the pre-novice level. The school I competed at was D3, but technically D1.
