I haven't taken any equine classes before, but I hope to take a few in college. I have worked at a barn and done yard maintenance, grooming, exercising a horse, mucking, feeding, and tacking up the horse for lessons.

Equine Work Experience
Was a groom for 9 months at a showing eventing barn, before left for college. I have ridden only fundamentally for 4 years on and off. I have been around horses and helped mucked out stall here and there to just be around horses again.
Specialities
I have worked with horses in the past, as well as some lessons. I've normally only worked with geldings or mare's, but I've been around some foals before. I do have experience co-leading a team at a barn, but I've never fully lead a barn team by myself. I am quite quick in my responsibilities in mucking, feeding, and grooming, as well as keeping the yard clean throughout my responsibilities.
Type of Ride Work
I've ridden mare's and gelding's before. The only horses I've ridden before, were older horses. I did ride one horse, who had an attitude, but he was great most of the time I rode him. I've done only ground work before in lessons, but hoping to start jumping lessons here soon.
Competition Details
I have not competed myself but been to many competitions as a bystander or groom. Have braided for competitions helped stayed organized and watch over the equines when at overnight show
