Bio
I’ve been riding my entire life, both english &western, with over 10+ years working in the equine industry, holding a weekend management position, teaching riders of all ages, and competing at a national and world-level barrel racing on my own horsesDuties of Current Occupation
I held a weekend barn management position for 2 years. This job included overseeing the care of over 30 high performance reining and barrel horses. I also taught lessons, here I worked 4 days a week handling a large lesson program of all levels.
Equine Work Experience
I have over 10 years of hands-on equine experience, including barn management, instruction, training, horse care, and competitive riding. For more than two years, I served as a Weekend Barn Manager, overseeing the daily care, exercise, health, and scheduling needs of 30+ horses, primarily high-performance reining and barrel racing horses. My responsibilities included coordinating veterinary and farrier visits, monitoring horse health, and ensuring overall barn operations ran smoothly. I also spent approximately two years teaching riding lessons, managing a lesson program that served riders of varying ages, abilities, disciplines, and skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders. In addition, I have extensive experience exercising, training, and competing horses, including my own. As a barrel racer, I have competed nationally for several years and qualified for the World Championships twice.
Specialities
Experienced working with young horses, and high-performance horses across multiple disciplines. Led a small team in a barn management role, overseeing the care, health, turnout, and wellbeing of 30+ horses. Taught 30–40+ riding lessons weekly to riders of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced, across multiple disciplines. Skilled in horse handling, exercise programs, rider development, and coordinating veterinary and farrier care.
Type of Ride Work
I began riding English at age 5, building a strong foundation in horsemanship and equitation before transitioning to the Western discipline at age 13. For the past 13 years, I have competed in NBHA barrel racing at a high level across the East Coast, earning two World Championship qualifications. While I have taught beginner to intermediate English lessons, my primary expertise lies in Western riding, training, and performance horse development.
