Training, exercise riding, assistance with sales, grooming at FEI standards, giving lessons, administering and managing medication, managing sick and injured horses, coordinating schedules, and property/barn maintenance/chores at very high standard

I have been riding for 14 years and working in the equine industry for 5. I started my career when i was young helping train green horses and exercise riding. I was trained dressage for a few years to ensure I had a proper foundation and a good seat while continuing to work as an exercise rider and working student, then returned to jumping. I now work two full time jobs, one as a full time groom and work rider for a private barn with very high standards, and one as a something in between an assistant trainer and working student. I have been assisting in the training and sale of numerous horses here in Ocala across all 3 rings. Aside from riding, I also have lots of experience with coordinating schedules, scheduling appointments, communicating with clients and fulfilling client requests, clipping, maintaining clean barn/stalls/fields, teaching lessons, training new staff, and more.

I have experience with a variety of different horses. I’ve worked with foals, yearlings, stallions, and elderly horses in need of extra care. I’ve also worked with horses with severe trauma and pain memory. I have also worked in very high turnout barns, breeding barns, and show barns.

I have worked with and ridden a variety of different horses. Young, old, greenies, ponies, you name it! I am currently focused on the jumpers, but have experience in the hunters and equitation as well. I can confidently course and show up to 1.15m. I also have lots of experience exercise riding, and can confidently identify where a horse is stiff or struggling and accommodate through riding accordingly. I also take western lessons on occasion

I’ve competed and placed in both the jumpers and equitation at unrated shows.
