I am a dedicated and hardworking equestrian with a strong background in dressage and western riding including reining and horsemanship.Qualifications
Animal Science pre-veterinary student at UConn with additional hands-on experience in veterinary and livestock settings. Knowledge of animal health, husbandry, welfare, and recognizing potential health concerns.
Duties of Current Occupation
Daily horse care including feeding, turnout, grooming, tacking, bathing, stall cleaning, and barn upkeep. Experienced handling horses safely and monitoring behavior, condition, and overall well-being.
Equine Work Experience
10+ years of equine experience, primarily in dressage, with additional exposure to hunt seat, Western, and reining. I have developed strong horsemanship and confidence working with horses of varying training levels and temperaments.
Specialities
Dressage-focused rider and Vice President of my IHSA Western Team. Experienced in horse handling, daily care, teamwork, and leadership. Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility in a barn setting.
Type of Ride Work
Dressage-focused rider currently schooling USDF First Level Test 3 and developing Second Level movements. Focused on correct flatwork, balance, rhythm, responsiveness, and continuing to develop horses through consistent riding.
Competition Details
IHSA Western competitor and National Qualifier with experience representing UConn in collegiate competition. I have also held a leadership role on the team as Vice President for two years.
