My name is Alexandra. I am a stay at home mom, and adult amateur eventer looking for part time work in the horse industry as administrative/coordinating staff. I am organized, upbeat, and enjoy talking to people and being of service.Qualifications
I have a bachelor's degree in English and 10 years of experience in the yoga/wellness/self care world. I have a yoga instructors certification, breathwork certification, somatic experiencing certification, nervous system and trauma informed.
Duties of Current Occupation
I used to own my own yoga business in Fort Collins Co and brought it from the conception to fully operational. I am very skilled at implementing new programs, communicating with the community, scheduling, payroll, and most administrative tasks
Equine Work Experience
Pony Club from ages 8 - 22. I had my own horses during that time and worked as a working student with many trainers along the way. I stopped riding as a young adult, got married, had kids, and built a business. I returned to horses in 2023; now owning my own horse and showing in eventing.
Specialities
I have led a team of yoga teachers, and wellness practitioners in running The Be Free Healing Center. Worked with horses from the ages of 8-22 and now again as an adult amateur eventer. I love being around and could talk horses all day. I also lived my inbetwen life as a somatic therapist working with clients who've experienced trauma in their lives. I am able to stay calm in stressful situations, can be incredibly supportive and empathetic, and stay very organized in my professional life.
