Equine Work Experience
Daily care of 10–20+ horses, feeding, turnout, grooming, stalls, blanketing, and monitoring health. Barn maintenance, horse handling, lesson instruction, scheduling, client communication, team leadership, and competition preparation/grooming.
Specialities
Yes. I have experience handling and caring for both foals and stallions, as well as horses of varying ages, temperaments, and training levels. I have also led teams in a farm and camp setting and have extensive experience with high-turnout barns, including managing daily turnout, feeding, grooming, and general horse care for 20+ horses.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a wide variety of horses across multiple disciplines, with a strong background in classical dressage and an emphasis on biomechanics, balance, and effective communication. My experience also includes eventing, hunter/jumper, reining, and all-around Western riding, from green and beginner-friendly horses to more experienced and challenging mounts.
Competition Details
Yes. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I was an active Pony Club member and competed in dressage, hunter/jumper, and cross country. I eventually focused primarily on dressage and regularly attended shows with my trainer, gaining valuable experience both competing and working as a groom.
