In process of obtaining a certificate in Equine Sports Massage Therapy from Equissage

Provide hands-on equine massage and bodywork focused on comfort, relaxation and mobility. Build trust with horses through calm handling, patience and close observation of individual behavior. Assist horse owners with general animal & stable care.

Within the last two years, I got hands-on experience learning horse anatomy & practicing massage on a wide range of breeds. While working with a total of 13 different horses during my time at LaBarque Farm in Eureka, MO, I learned about the health and ideal living conditions of horses. I participated in feeding & general maintenance of stalls from time to time. I’ve recently been hired to work part time as a stable assistant 2-3 times/week while one of the stable managers is out of town in September 2026. From 2018-current, I have practiced equine massage on multiple private farms in the St. Louis area.

For the last year, I have spent 4 hours, twice/month at Sunny Farms in Wright City, MO working with a lame thoroughbred. Initially, I observed his movements & performed myofascial release massage. I have also played an active role in his training, learning the Liberty Method, gaining knowledge of terminology, & collaborating with Karli to distinguish the overall health & improvement of her horse.
