Ocala, Florida | Full-Time, Year-Round | Private Housing + Full Benefits Established private show-jumping farm in Ocala, Florida is seeking an experienced, dependable, full-time groom. We currently have 13 horses and are building a new, state-of-the-art 15-stall barn. The new groom will join an established team, working with the Head Trainer and Head Groom to provide quality and reliable support.
We are looking for a genuine horse-person who takes pride in providing exceptional care and dependability. The right person will have excellent horsemanship, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.Being a dedicated team player is essential. The Position The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the daily care and grooming of approximately six horses, including young horses and competition horses. An eye for detail and a proactive attitude is a must. Our horses compete primarily at World Equestrian Center Ocala and HITS Ocala, both approximately 15 minutes from the farm - extensive show travel is not a regular part of this position. We are looking for at home support from a show quality groom Responsibilities  Primary daily care of approximately six assigned horses- bathing, grooming, braiding  Safely handling both experienced show horses and young horses in training  Cleaning and bedding stalls, care of tack and equipment, barns and equipment  Picking manure from paddocks and maintaining clean turnout areas  Turning horses in and out  Preparing and distributing feed, hay and supplements

Must have ability to legally work in the US, Must have a valid drivers license, Must have the ability to pass background check
