Professional Virginia breeding and show jumping operation in search of an equine care specialist. Experience in grooming, handling mares & foals, stallions and show horses preferred. Great position to develop in multiple aspects of the horse industry. Willing to teach the right candidate. This position does not include riding or managerial duties.

Daily duties to include:

Feeding, Turnout, Mucking Stalls, Keeping the facilities presentable, Medicating horses as needed, Vet and other vendor appointments, Shared nightcheck duties

Seasonal duties to include:

Breeding, Foaling, Collecting of stallions, Shipping and Freezing of semen, Halter-breaking

Must be: Flexible, reliable, a team player, have good communications skills, a positive attitude, be detail oriented.

*Skills desired but not required: Experience foaling mares Experience with collecting breeding stallions Experience with semen evaluation and processing
