We are looking for a full time rider on a short term or long term basis to ride approximately 4-6 horses and large ponies a day, with emphasis on getting younger horses correctly started over fences and learning lead changes, and occasional tune up of lesson horses. The right candidate should have experience showing in 3’+ divisions, be a soft rider that horses like, and get along with sensitive horses to include Thoroughbreds. Onsite housing available with utilities included. Salary dependent on skill set and health benefits dependent on how long you intend to stay. Two pretty, near adjacent facilities on 80 acres with lots of turn out, 2 indoor rings, miles of trails, operating as a riding school since 1961 in a lovely college town. The horses and ponies (there are nearly 50 across the two farms) are easy and all go in rubber snaffles but the younger ones need miles.
