Providence Equestrian Center is looking to add a valued member to our team! Family owned and operated since 1998, Providence offers English riding lessons to students of all ages and levels. Our program consists of academy riding lessons, camps, showing and leasing on our lovely lesson horses and ponies. We are also home to Stonehaven, our A and AA show and sales program led by Todd Wisegarver.

Providence is owned by Mitzi Treske, DVM who keeps our horses and ponies happy and healthy and manages the facility. Her daughter, Suzanna, is our professional rider and assistant trainer for Stonehaven. Suzanna also works closely with our academy instructors and oversees the preparation and management of our lesson horses.

Our farm boasts a huge 150’x275’ outdoor arena with European footing and a full course of show grade jumps, a 75’x200’ covered arena, 12x12 comfort mat stalls, all weather paddocks, extra wide barn aisles with a spacious interior and well-maintained property. We are conveniently located in South Charlotte with plenty of amenities, entertainment, housing and dining options nearby.

Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable and proficient in equine care and management and hunter/jumper riding and teaching. We are looking for a candidate who is conscientious, reliable, honest and professional. The position will primarily include teaching lessons and riding as well as aiding in miscellaneous horse care and barn tasks.

We offer consistent hours, 8 days off a month, two weeks PTO after 6 months of employment, bonus opportunities and a fun and friendly work environment. Salary $50,000+/year commiserate with experience.
