NYEC is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Office Administrator to support our daily office operations and provide excellent customer service to clients and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering phones, emails, and client inquiries
- Scheduling lessons, programs, and appointments
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with client accounts, registrations, and paperwork
- Maintaining organized files, schedules, and spreadsheets
- Communicating schedule changes and important information to clients and staff
- Providing general administrative support to management
Qualifications:
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Professional and dependable
- Comfortable with computers, email, and basic office software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative or customer-service experience preferred
- Equestrian experience is a plus, but not required

Qualifications Required
Minimum 5 years in equine barn management or equivalent Minimum 5 years horse handling and training experience Proven staff management and leadership ability Valid driver's license; ability to tow and trailer horses Ability to lift 50–60 lbs and work outdoors in all weather Strong communication skills with clients, vendors, and staff Preferred
CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) certification Experience in a public-facing or community equestrian facility Bilingual English/Spanish (strong operational advantage on Long Island) Experience with therapeutic or adaptive riding programs Familiarity with horse show logistics and USEF compliance Budget management and basic financial reporting experience

Equestrian Employer Details
Riding school as well as rehab facility and boarding facility with an indoor arena. We have 55 horses on the property and we have access to a network of trails which we provide trail rides to the public. We have riders and students here that do western pleasure, Hunter jumpers, show jumping and dressage.
