Panther Creek Stables is looking for a Western Instructor to join our team! We have a growing multi-disciplinary lesson program and are hoping to bring someone on with experience in Western Riding and/or Barrel Racing!
Our lesson program operates on a 9 week session, 8 weeks of teaching and 1 week of makeup lessons. The Instructor's schedule is assigned at the beginning of the session.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Teach group and private lessons to all levels - total beginner to advanced riders
- Maintain the fitness of our lesson horses by creating and following regular exercise plans.
- Tracking the progress of your lesson students and updating accordingly in ECPro.
- Attending regular meetings when requested.
- Plan lessons beforehand, ensuring all activities are in accordance with the student's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Requirements
- Must have experience in teaching and competing.

Panther Creek is a beautiful 4000 acre property in Northwest Mississippi where individuals and families Play, Learn, and Grow. Through our multiple programs across the Ranch, Health, and Stables, Panther Creek has worked to promote the growth of our community. Panther Creek Stables offers three 150' x 250' outdoor floodlit riding arenas appropriate for dressage, jumping, and western riding. We have cross country schooling fences from Intro to Training level designed and developed by USEA eventer Cathy Weischhoff. We offer full stall board in our 16 stall Pole Barn and pasture board in our 15 paddocks between .5 to 5 acres. Our lesson program contains both English and Western Riding for ages 3 and up!
