The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Western / Horsemanship Horse Trainer to join our growing team. This individual will teach riders of varying skill levels, contribute to the culture of excellence at our facilities, and play a meaningful role in our community-centered mission. The position can be structured as part-time or full-time depending on the candidate's experience and availability.

Deliver private, semi-private, and group lessons in western horsemanship to students ranging from beginners to advanced riders Develop lesson plans and training progressions tailored to individual student goals and skill levels Safely manage and work with lesson horses, ensuring appropriate rotation and welfare Participate in the onboarding and evaluation of new lesson horses Contribute to a positive, professional barn culture that reflects our values of safety, growth, and community Collaborate with management and fellow trainers on programming, scheduling, and facility events Support community partnerships including youth programs, scouting organizations, and nonprofit collaborations Contribute to adaptive/special-needs riding (PATH Intl. certified candidates) What We Are Looking For Professional, reliable, team-oriented work ethic PATH Intl. certification (CTRI or equivalent) is a significant bonus given the adaptive riding launch at LTS Experience with additional disciplines (dressage, jumping, 3-day eventing) is a plus
