Stud Groom required for family thoroughbred stud on Bucks/Oxon border. We have between 8 and 10 mares plus 2 or 3 horses in and out of training at any one time.

We are looking for someone with foaling and sales prep experience but would consider candidates who are looking to learn on the job such as a recently graduated student, as long as the passion is there.

Good horse husbandry is vital, as is working well with vets, farriers and local suppliers but ultimately care of all the horses is key, plus an interest in the racing industry is desirable.

This is a live in position with separate cottage. The ability to drive a lorry would be helpful but not essential.

We also have event horses on site, so there can be some hacking involvement with these if you are interested.
