Start date - by 2nd November 2026.

We are looking for a rider groom to join our successful team. The position is live-in. Own horse subject to agreement.

40 hours per week. The salary is £19,000 - £23,000 (subject to age), inclusive of accommodation and utility bills.

Bonus

1. £600 payable April 2027 subject to 12 month's continuous employment. (Pro rata payment for starters part way through year.)
2. Extra week's pay at Christmas after two continuous years of employment.

5 days per week, 4 weeks paid holiday per year.

A rider groom role at Collective Equestrian involves yard work as well as the schooling and exercising of horses. The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in the handling and backing of young horses.There are approximately 30 horses in training at our stables - ranging from youngsters to international grand prix dressage horses. The successful candidate will be expected to progress younger horses as well as under ride advanced horses. There are competing opportunities in age classes and novice classes. . The applicant joins an existing experienced team of 6 full time staff and 2 part time staff. The ideal applicant will be personable, honest, hardworking, and have:

• Proven experience in working with youngsters and dressage horses;
• Knowledge of and interest in dressage;
• Good time management and enjoy working with others.
