We're looking for a Dressage Rider who can school and compete to a minimum of S / Prix St. Georges level. We're not looking for someone who has ridden one Prix St. Georges test. We're looking for someone who can genuinely school a horse to that level — take a four-year-old and bring it all the way up. If that's your skill set, you'll love it here. If it isn't quite there yet, this particular role won't be the right fit, and we'd rather tell you that up front.
The head rider is focused on his own horses. He'll happily jump in a few times a week, give tips, and support you daily — but he can't school every horse every day. That's the whole point of this role: we need a rider who can work independently and knows exactly what they're doing. Our horses are good, and some are exceptional, so we're protective of them — this isn't a place to experiment and learn the basics. Our Horses
We have wonderful horses, including a lot of young, talented prospects with real futures. They need correct, thoughtful riding to grow, and we have strong candidates for the German championships next year. Start now and you'll have the ideal window to develop them into the season — it's genuinely exciting timing.
Salary based on your skill and experience (range below) Top external trainers, fully covered by us, 2–3 times a month Daily support and input from the head rider / owner Live-in accommodation if you need it Great horses, a great stable, and everything you need to grow in the sport.
We're a team, and we like it that way. We value riders who are empathetic, communicate well, and solve problems calmly — people who understand that everyone's different and that we're all pulling in the same direction. We build long-lasting, respectful relationships and keep the workplace drama-free. Strong riding matters most, but good people skills matter a lot too. If this sounds like you, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.
