URGENT – GROOM / STABLE STAFF WANTED

High-level dressage yard looking for a serious, reliable and motivated person to join our team ASAP for a long-term position.

Duties include morning mucking out, daily horse care, turnout, grooming, horse preparation and general stable management. Riding may be possible depending on experience and ability.

We are looking for a reliable, responsible and hardworking person with a genuine passion for horses. Previous experience with horses is essential. You should be organised, attentive to detail and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued. Long-term commitment is preferred. Riding experience is an advantage but not essential.

The morning routine includes around 10 boxes to muck out, turning horses out to the fields, preparing them for their work, feeding, grooming and providing all daily care. You will be involved in the horses’ everyday routine and, depending on your experience and riding ability, there may also be opportunities to ride and assist with their training.

You will work closely with the horses and have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from horses of all ages and levels, from young horses to Grand Prix horses.

You can develop your skills in classical dressage, groundwork, horse handling, lunging, desensitisation and the education of young horses, with individual guidance and support.
