Cody Morgan Racing is currently seeking a reliable, full time track work rider for six mornings per week (6am-930am, Monday - Saturday).
The successful applicant MUST have extensive track riding experience riding both younger and mature thoroughbred racehorses and be confident in riding gallops and pace work. Prior experience and a current track work license are required.
Skills required:
Competence in riding fast work
Punctuality, reliability, the ability to follow instructing and to work unsupervised within a team environment.

Cody Morgan Racing has daily access to the comprehensive facilities based at Tamworth Racecourse, these include five tracks; a trotting track, sand track, cinders track and two grass tracks; the B grass and the course proper. A 75-metre swimming pool and an 8-horse walker to ensure your thoroughbred is at its peak fitness. We utilise 30 boxes/double sized yards in a well secured stable complex, with maintenance of fresh sawdust a top priority.
12 stables and day paddocks located at our private residence, ‘Keighley Park’, with-in close proximity to the Tamworth Racecourse.
Cody also works closely with his younger brother Luke, owner of Morgan Thoroughbred Breaking and Pre-Training. This connection provides an easy progression for our owners from sale purchase of yearlings and problem thoroughbreds through to racing.
